SEND A CHILD TO THE RANCH PROGRAM
In the spirit of Adolfo Camarillo, who supported education for all children living on his ranch and served on the Pleasant Valley School District Board of Trustees for 37 years, the Camarillo Ranch Foundation is proud to provide complimentary school tours to 3rd grade students in Camarillo and greater Ventura County. Each year, volunteers lead over 35 school tours and engage more than 2,000 children with the story of Adolfo Camarillo.
The Foundation is committed to making Adolfo’s legacy accessible to all children. Accordingly, the “Send a Child to the Ranch” program awards grants that provide $400 toward round-trip school bus transportation to and from the Camarillo Ranch for qualified schools on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The Foundation has fundraised to sustain this very important program for the past 12 years. If you would like to support educational programming at the Camarillo Ranch, please click on the following link.
